Ukrainian Parliament ratified double taxation avoidance treaty with Malta.

280 votes in favor of  the bill for ratification of the Convention between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Malta for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and Protocol thereto. This long-anticipated event marked 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Convention will promote economic activities between the nations, curb tax evasion, further mutual investment and trade.
