Mission

Honorary consulate of Malta in Kyiv was founded to further the bilateral relations between Ukraine and Malta and serve as a source of essential information about Ukraine for Maltese nationals. Its main objective is to support, strengthen and foster cooperation between Ukraine and Malta.
Notwithstanding the fact that the current Malta-Ukraine relations are gradually developing there is still a great unopened potential lying in cooperation between the countries. The Honorary consulate aims to promote the joint initiatives between the countries and assist the creation of new joint projects between them.

Meet the Honorary consul

PAVLO M. GRECHKIVSKY

• Born on July 27, 1968 in Kyiv, Ukraine,
• Mr. Grechkivsky was educated at Dzerzhyskiy Ukrainian State Law Academy in Kharkiv. In 1991 he started his career as a legal advisor to commercial entities and banking institutions, where he was later on promoted to the head of legal departments.
• Between 1993 and 1996 Mr. Grechkivsky held a position of General Director at K-Khortytsia Ltd. LLC, part of Khortytsia Corporation JSC. In November 1996 he founded the Ukragrocommerce LLC law firm.
• Since 2002, Mr. Grechkivsky has been involved in promoting Malta-Ukraine commercial and cultural relations. In June 2012 he was appointed as an Honorary Consul of Malta in Ukraine.
• In 2005 Mr. Grechkivsky became a member of the Kyiv Regional Panel of Lawyers. Also, he was a member of Kyiv City Council of the 5th and 6th convocation between March 2006 and April 2012.
• In 2009, he joined the Qualification Disciplinary Bar Commission of Kyiv region. In 2011 he also became a member of the Ukrainian Bar Association and the International Bar Association. In the same year Mr. Grechkivsky joined the executive board of directors of the Union of Advocates of Ukraine. He currently serves as head of the committee in charge of government relations.
• In 2010 Mr. Grechkivsky founded the Law Offices of Grechkivsky.
